Würth Elektronik eiSos is an exhibitor in the new “experience hall” C6 at electronica, which aims to offer a combination of electronics experience and career information. Annika Rehmet from the human resources department answered our questions via WhatsApp.

Annika Rehmet: You can in fact experience us twice in the experience hall: On the one hand, at our booth, and on the other hand, in the demo area. At our booth, visitors can solder a fidget spinner, designed by us, which uses our components. And in the demo area, we will build a track that can be driven with an electric skateboard. Our electric skateboard will also be on display. We will explain the technology at our Booth 404 in Hall B6, where the Würth Elektronik eiSos Group will present itself and its entire product portfolio – and here too, electronics comes to life. For example, demonstrations and applications have been set up or you can install our components yourself using virtual reality glasses. In this way, therefore, we are looking forward to combining the two areas of the trade fair.

Markt&Technik, sc: Is there a picture of the fidget spinner? And of the electric skateboard?

Annika Rehmet: Yes, I’ll send them to you.

sc: Who exactly are the persons you want to address?

Annika Rehmet: Since this is the premiere of the experience hall, we hope that a large number of interested visitors will enjoy discovering electronics and want to make contact with us as a company.

sc: Visitors’ interest will therefore be aroused in Hall C6 and conversations, including those on career opportunities, will then take place in Hall B6, Booth 404? The electronics world is small, what if I, as an employed person and/or as exhibitor, am interested in Würth Elektronik, but do not want my boss to notice?

Annika Rehmet: Next to the fidget spinner event at our booth in Hall C6, there is a lot of space to come into contact. We want to lower the inhibition threshold and create a relaxed atmosphere. There is hence no reason for concern. If, among other things, it’s about career opportunities with us – as the name suggests, the focus is on experience and interest. In addition to contact persons from the human resources department, colleagues from product development and product management or technical field service are also available to answer questions in Hall C6. And, of course, the colleagues at our booth in Hall B6 will also be happy to provide information.

sc: Let me perhaps just ask in conclusion – in which areas is Würth Elektronik currently looking for personnel?

Annika Rehmet: Due to our growth, there are actually hardly any areas in which we are not looking. Whether you are a student, graduate, technician, young professional or professional in electrical engineering or related fields – interested persons, whose heart beats for electronic and electromechanical components, can find their place in different departments at Würth Elektronik eiSos. We are looking for product developers and product managers as well as technical quality managers for our various product groups. For applicants who enjoy technical customer consulting and support, we offer positions throughout Germany as technical sales person, field application engineer or in key account management.
