CEDARtools from Accemic Technologies is the first non-intrusive, continuous live-observation tool for embedded systems, running on release code without influencing it. Furthermore, it measures code coverage without instrumentation, even on high functional test levels, and measures complex timing behavior without influencing the system.
CEDARtools processes the multi-gigabit trace data stream produced by most industry-standard processors such as ARM Cortex-A, Infineon Aurix, NXP QorIQ / Layerscape and Intel Atom via high-speed serial trace interfaces.
CEDARtools utilizes complex electronics and advanced software, which create live digital twin representations of monitored processors to perform live coverage measurements or runtime checks defined in a high-level language. The system consists of two components:
