NXP Semiconductors with its S32 RT Real-Time processors
The S32 RT real-time processors, based on 16 nm FinFET process technology, offer a new class of automotive processing that provides the benefits of microcontroller behavior, but with much higher performance, integration and memory expansion. The new devices fill an important gap in processing between the S32K MCUs and the S32G vehicle network processors as part of the S32 Platform and provide the high-performance processing needed for vehicle control, domain control, zonal gateways and safety processing. Together, these processors support diverse processing applications in a wide rane of vehicles making them attractive to many automotive customers.
The S32 RT Real-Time processor line offers customers price/performance scalability with the S32Z2 and S32E2 Series and is sampling now – addressing automotive safety and real-time consolidation.
