"Our success is no reason for us to sit back," emphasizes Michael Unger, Managing Director and Spokesman of the Management Board. "The question is: How do we make the company fit for the future? Our goal is clearly defined: We have doubled group sales in the past seven years, and we aim to double it again in the next five to seven years. To achieve this, the organisation must continue to develop. Now is the right time to set the course for the future - and we have done so."
The core of the realignment…
...is a clear focus on the requirements of the most important industries. For this reason, the Balluff Group will in future be divided into seven divisions. Three of these combine all solutions for the main industries "Mobility", "Packaging, Food & Beverage" and "Machine & Plant Engineering" in one each organizational unit.
"These industrial divisions ensure that the requirements of the respective industries for new products and solutions are translated into a relevant customer portfolio," explains Unger. "This will enable us to focus our development even more specifically, more quickly and better on the industries."
In addition to the three industrial divisions, there will be four further divisions - Marketing & Sales, Technology, Supply Chain and Services, Finance & Quality. Each of the seven divisions has its own management, which together form the extended management.
"We are now implementing…
...the realignment from a position of strength," emphasizes Unger. "It forms the basis for the consistent further development of Balluff, taking it to the next level and positioning it for the future.”
