As usual, the electronic displays Conference (edC) will take place in 2021 at the same time as embedded world in Nuremberg. The Call for Papers for the edC starts now!

Proposals for papers for the 35th electronic displays Conference can be submitted until 2 October 2020. The established expert meeting for developers, researchers and decision-makers will take place parallel to embedded world in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 3-4 March 2021.

The electronic displays Conference (edC) will once again in 2021 »become an important forum for the presentation of innovative ideas, approaches, developments and research projects in the field of today's and tomorrow's display business«, promises Professor Karlheinz Blankenbach from Pforzheim University and Chairman of the Congress Advisory Board of edC. The event, which took place this year at the end of February, was a great success with almost 500 display experts and around 50 presentations, including seven keynotes. These figures are quite impressive - considering that edC 2020 was held on the eve of the lockdown, so to speak, in the wake of the Corona pandemic. This made it clear: »The display community stood together«, said Professor Blankenbach.

The electronic displays Conference next spring will prove that this is still the case. Here, as usual, engineers, industry experts, users, researchers, dealers, consultants and manufacturers will be offered the best platform over two days to find out about the latest developments and advances in technology.

Submit your presentation proposals by 2 October!

Next year, the English-language B2B conference will again focus on numerous specialist presentations on a wide range of display topics, including display technologies and applications, supply chain, display components and market overviews. Newly scheduled for 2021 is the topic of lighting, for example for the automotive sector.

Presentation proposals can be submitted online here until 2 October. Further information on the conference can be found here.

The electronic displays Conference is organized by DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK, the leading German-language magazine for embedded developers. DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK reports every month on the state of the art, solutions for current and urgent problems, current developments and trends on all topics relevant for developers in professional electronics.
