Plug-in Electronic has added a fanless computer system from Vecow to its product range, which is characterized by particularly powerful graphics performance.
The new series of computer systems are a compact solution for all real-time performance-oriented embedded computing applications. The EVS 1000 series uses an Intel C236 chipset and can be supplied with a Skylake generation Core or Xeon processor. The system includes a discrete graphics card with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1030 graphics processor, which can be used for demanding graphics applications and parallel calculations. Another PCI Express slot can be used for various LAN or PoE options. There are also three SIM slots and WLAN for the wireless network connection.
The passively cooled workstation can be used for autonomous vehicles, machine learning, deep learning and AI-oriented embedded applications, robot control, telemedicine, machine vision, intelligent monitoring and all Industry 4.0/IIoT applications. Fanless operation is possible at an ambient temperature of –25°C to 60°C.
