Lauterbach has extended its TRACE32 debug and trace tool to a new processor family. It now also supports the new S32Z and S32E real-time processor families from NXP Semiconductor.
Lauterbach, supplier of debug and trace tools, announces the addition of NXP Semiconductors’ new S32Z and S32E real-time processor families to the growing list of processors supported by TRACE32. It provides an out-of-the-box debug and trace solution for the whole processor, supporting for all cores.
For complex SoC’s running multi-tenancy applications like virtual ECUs, the debug and trace system needs to be aware of the hypervisor and the guest operating systems. Lauterbach's TRACE32 tools are leading in hypervisor and operating system-aware debugging. Now, supporting NXPs new S32Z and S32E processors, Lauterbach also provides hypervisor awareness for real-time processors.
With the trace-based code coverage analysis, TRACE32 tools help developers to qualify a project according to all ASIL-levels. To simplify tool qualification, Lauterbach provide the Tool Qualification Support Kit (TQSK) to certify TRACE32 tools according automotive standards like ISO 26262.
