The rapid loading at the Porsche Center in Berlin-Adlershof.
The charging infrastructure at the Berlin-Adlershof site was implemented as a pilot project to test the technology and to gain experience in integrating a quick charging park at Porsche centers. The quick-charging parks are part of the introduction of the Porsche Taycan.
The rapid loading park announced by Porsche at the Porsche Center in Berlin-Adlershof went online – later than originally planned.
Four of the branch's customer car parking places are equipped with the Porsche charging infrastructure – two with the new 800-volt charging technology. The voltage level of 800 V allows the charging time to be reduced, so that less than 20 minutes are sufficient for a range of approximately 400 km.
During the opening hours of the Porsche Centre Berlin-Adlershof, the charging park is freely accessible for all electric cars, so that electric vehicles with Combined Charging System (CCS) plugs can be charged there.
The Porsche Taycan – production vehicle with 800 V technology – will be on the market at the end of 2019.
