“This year once again impressively demonstrated the significance that embedded world holds within the global embedded community,” emphasized Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of embedded world. “The energy in the halls - crowded aisles, many fruitful discussions, and an impressive variety of ideas - truly inspired us. This strong feedback motivates us enormously and reinforces our commitment to continuing on the event’s successful path.”

embedded world Conference: International expertise shapes the conference program

With its exceptionally broad range of topics and intensive opportunities for technical exchange, the embedded world Conference once again sent a strong signal in 2026 regarding the industry’s innovative strength. High-caliber technical presentations, well-founded scientific insights, and lively dialogue among experts made the conference a central meeting place for the international developer community.

“An exceptionally wide range of innovative technical presentations characterized this year’s embedded world Conference,” said Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, Chairman of the embedded world Conference. “The depth of the technical discussions and the quality of the scientific insights demonstrate how actively and forward-looking our developer community works. Rarely has it been so clearly evident how intensively research and practice are collaborating on new solutions.” The conference thus reaffirms its status as the leading source of knowledge and inspiration for the embedded community.

electronic displays Conference: A strong conference and seamless transition at the top

This year, Prof. Dr. Jan Bauer from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences took over the chair of the electronic displays Conference from Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, who had shaped the event for many years with great expertise and dedication. The seamless transition underscores the conference’s strong scientific foundation and ensures its continued development in a dynamic market environment. Prof. Bauer builds on the successful work of his predecessor and is providing new impetus to further expand the conference’s significance as the leading platform for the display community. “As the new chairman of the electronic displays Conference, I am particularly pleased with the depth of content in the presentations and the intensive professional exchange within our community,” he explained. “Many presentations have shown that display technologies are currently evolving primarily in a gradual manner - new momentum is emerging particularly in the areas of energy-efficient low-power displays and sustainability, which will play a central role in the industry’s future.”

embedded world is now expanding to India as its fourth location, marking a significant strategic step in its international growth. “By choosing a fourth location, we are consistently continuing the success story of embedded world,” explained Benedikt Weyerer. “The strong international demand demonstrates the worldwide relevance of our platform. Through this expansion, we are creating even more space for innovation, growth, and networking - and bringing the global embedded community even closer together.”

The new offshoot, embedded world India, which will take place in Bengaluru from November 17 to 19, 2026, is emerging in one of the most dynamic embedded markets worldwide. India’s rapid digital transformation, extensive investments under the India Semiconductor Mission, and an expected annual market growth of around 10.3 percent through 2030 make the country a key growth driver. The event’s alignment with the renowned Bengaluru Tech Summit also creates valuable synergies and opens new avenues to technology providers, development teams, and decision-makers on an international level. In doing so, embedded world is expanding its global network and strengthening its role as the leading platform for the global embedded industry.

You can already mark your calendars for the 25th embedded world Exhibition & Conference: In its anniversary year, the event will take place from March 16 to 18, 2027, at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
