Kontron adds the »VX307H« card, a 3U VPX plug-in card for HPC applications, to its portfolio. It was developed according to the specifications of the SOSA profile and increases the computing and data transfer performance of systems in the fields of defense, avionics and transportation.
Kontron's VX370H CPU Card is based on Intel's Xeon D 2700 CPUs, which are available in 12-, 16- and 20-Core-versions. It is 2.97-times faster than it's predessesor and is easy to customize in blade applications in terms of size, weight, performance and costs (SWap-C). Functions like the latest »VITA48.8« air flow trough (aft) cooling technology and special integrated commands for artificial intelligence (VNNI) and signal processing (AVX512) make sure that the processing performance is fully exploited.
Many connectivity options like 100G Ethernet and up to x16 PCIe Gen4 ensure access to data communications systems - ideal for computing platforms with high dense, which are essential for modern applications like C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance).
The card has a longterm-availiability with a lifetime of ten years and is developed, integrated and technical supported in France. So it is free of restrictions of the international traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
