The electronic displays Conference 2024 is fast approaching.From 10 to 11 April, the who's who of the display industry along its entire value chain will once again meet in Nuremberg for the most important conference of the year. The recently published #edC programme focuses on more than 50 top-class presentations by established experts from research and industry, which are bundled into 16 thematic sessions and 8 keynotes. The comprehensive programme covers all important topics for all stakeholders along the entire value chain, from science and materials research to production, integration and sales through to the user.
A number of speakers will provide a comprehensive overview of all current developments, market trends, technologies and innovations as a basis for dialogue. For example, analyst Paul Gray from Omdia will discuss why the ongoing consolidation in some traditional areas of the display business should not be seen as a sign of impending stagnation and where new opportunities will arise in the future. Other experts, such as Dr Heinz Abel (Continental Automotive Technologies), Prof Klaus Bengler (Technical University of Munich) and Dr Tara Akhavan (Forvia Faurecia) will, for example, address future requirements for displays as a central interface for human-machine interaction.
The sessions will provide participants with an in-depth insight into topics such as special technologies, application scenarios and B2B strategies. These will include AR/VR technologies, microdisplays, FALD LCDs, MicroLEDs, reflective displays, haptic touchscreens, solutions for the automotive sector and outdoor areas, as well as optical measurement methods, interfaces and EMC topics.
