Merger between Metallux and Senstronic
Senstronic has acquired a majority stake in the german sensor expert Metallux. Senstronic is a french company specialized in the design, manufacture and marketing of sensors, connectors and signal processing systems.
Metallux will continue to operate independently. Management will continue its work and ensure stability and continuity. The Metallux site will be retained and, if possible, expanded.

Based in Alsace since 1986, Senstronic currently employs more than 250 people at its 8 sites around the world and sells its products in more than 50 countries. An expert in inductive, magnetic, capacitive and optoelectronic sensor technologies, Senstronic is recognized as a specialist in industrial connectors, connection systems and signal processing for automation.
Metallux AG develops and manufactures sensors in thick-film technology. The product portfolio ranges from pressure, linear and rotary sensors to resistors and industrial joysticks for controlling vehicles and machines. Metallux not only has an extensive standard range. The focus is on developing customised solutions that are tailored to the individual requirements of the customer.
Metallux manufactures exclusively in Germany: from sample quantities to large series of several hundred thousand pieces. Modern, automated production processes are used.
