For customers, support from their usual sales and technical contacts will remain unchanged.

Technology Hub in Phoenix, Arizona

Laser Components has been producing avalanche photodiodes in Arizona since 2004. Over time, production has been expanded to include pyroelectric detectors, InGaAs PIN detectors, and lead salt detectors. The location was further consolidated and technologically expanded in 2020 with the opening of a new, modern production facility.

Customer proximity as a success factor

For many years, the U.S. sales team at Laser Components has been providing fast and reliable support in North America. In addition to commercial goods, the company primarily offers products from its own production facilities. Since a significant portion of the company’s sales is generated by products made in North American, consolidating the locations is a logical and strategic step toward further reducing response times and strengthening customer relationships.

Andrew Larsen appointed Sales Director for North America

To further expand customer service, the company has appointed Andrew Larsen as Sales Director for North America. He will be responsible for all sales activities in the region. Larsen will focus on high-growth markets such as defense and aerospace, medical technology, and quantum technology. At the same time, LASER COMPONENTS is continuously expanding its product portfolio to provide perfectly tailored solutions for a wide range of applications.
