Next year, the new Enforce Tac Conference will complement the Enforce Tac trade fair in Nuremberg for the first time. The conference offers the ideal platform for discussions on the use of electronics to solve challenges in security and defence technology.
As one of the key high-tech sectors, the electronics industry, with its potential for innovation, forms the foundation for all modern and intelligent security and defence technology. This is particularly evident against the backdrop of current geopolitical developments, with conflicts increasingly being fought with the aid of drones and in cyberspace.
As an international trade fair for internal and external security, Enforce Tac in Nuremberg (February 23 to 25, 2026) is both an important business event and an emotional industry event. It serves as both a meeting place and a venue for strategic positioning.
The new Enforce Tac Conference, which will be making its debut in 2026, offers the ideal platform for exchange between the defence industry, numerous suppliers, the electronics industry, and research on the use of electronics to solve the challenges in defence and protection technology applications of today and tomorrow – in the proven, protected setting of Enforce Tac.
"Smart and intelligent systems are used everywhere. They are also major building blocks of security and defence applications". says Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, Offenburg University of Applied Sciences & Hahn-Schickard and Chairman of the Enforce Tac Conference. "The conference aim is to inform about technological solutions, identify use-cases, discuss innovative solutions, and bring experts together."
The potential range of topics covered by the Enforce Tac Conference extends from components and subsystems to ready-to-use solutions, from power supplies, sensor technology and embedded systems (hardware and software) to communication technology, optoelectronics, measurement and testing technology, and individual components such as connectors, displays and housings.
A key component of the conference will be the presentation and discussion of case studies in the field of defence and security. Here, participants will exchange ideas on the features of specific, already implemented applications of electronics in defence applications, as well as on the requirements of manufacturers in the defence industry for electronics suppliers and solution providers.
The conference is aimed at developers, project managers and product strategists from companies that offer defence solutions or supply components or subsystems for such solutions. It is also aimed at representatives of armed forces, government agencies and research institutions involved in current and future technologies in the defence sector.
The Enforce Tac Conference programme committee is calling for presentation proposals. You are invited to give a presentation on a topic related to the requirements, technologies and solutions associated with the use of electronics in defence and security applications.
The following list is a selection of possible topics – we are of course open to other topics not included here:
Interested parties should use the online submission form to submit presentation proposals. The program committee of the Enforce Tac Conference 2026 looks forward to receiving submissions by 11 November 2025.
