Withings at CES 2025: smart blood pressure measurement and certified ECG analysis

Digital health provider Withings is presenting several medical innovations for home and medical use in Las Vegas this year: The "BPM Vision", for example, is a smart blood pressure monitor for home use, which is designed to further simplify cardiovascular monitoring at home. The device features a large, color high-resolution display that not only clearly shows the measured values, but also provides interactive instructions on how to take the measurement correctly. Operation has been designed to be intuitive, especially for older patients or those with little technical experience. The clinical precision in the measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure enables reliable hypertension control in the home environment. With interchangeable cuffs in two sizes (22-42 cm and 40-52 cm), the device adapts to different arm circumferences. The WLAN connection and a battery life of six months ensure continuous health monitoring. Up to eight users can save their individual measurement data.

Heart monitoring as a personal preventive subscription

In parallel, Withings is introducing the Cardio Check-Up service, which enables ECG analysis by certified cardiologists within 24 hours. The CES Innovation Award-winning service, which is compatible with all ECG-enabled Withings devices, can identify atrial fibrillation and more than ten other arrhythmias. Assessments are made conveniently via the Withings app, allowing patients to receive specialist assessments without waiting. The BPM Vision will initially be available in the US from April 2025 for 129.95 US dollars, subject to FDA approval. The Cardio Check-Up service will be available from January 2025 as part of the Withings+ subscription, which includes four check-ups when paid annually (99.95 euros).
