For environmental testing in R&D and production, Test Equity has introduced a portfolio of CE-certified test chambers. Designed to meet IEC 61010 requirements, the systems support temperature and climate testing of electronic components and assemblies under controlled conditions.
As electronic products become more complex and development cycles continue to shorten, environmental testing remains a key step in validating reliability, safety and regulatory compliance. Temperature cycling and climate testing are widely used in industries such as automotive, medical technology and industrial automation to assess product performance under realistic operating conditions.
To address these requirements, Test Equity has introduced a portfolio of CE-certified environmental test chambers for European R&D and production environments. The systems are designed in accordance with EN 61010-1 and EN IEC 61010-2-012 safety standards, while the flagship TE-1016H model also complies with the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.
The product range covers chamber volumes from 19.8 to 453 litres and supports applications ranging from PCB and sensor testing to the validation of complete assemblies. Depending on the model, chambers provide temperature ranges from -73°C to +175°C, with the TE-1016H additionally offering humidity control from 10% to 98% RH.
For compact test environments, the TE-107-EX provides a 19.8-litre workspace and operates between -42°C and +130°C. Mid-size chambers such as the TE-115A-EX-F and TE-115R-EX offer 43.9 litres of capacity and heating rates of up to 8.3°C per minute. The TE-123C-EX extends capacity to 65 litres and uses cascade refrigeration for rapid temperature transitions.
Larger test requirements are addressed by the TE-1007S and TE-1007C, both featuring a 198-litre workspace. At the top end of the portfolio, the TE-1016H combines a 453-litre test volume with temperature and humidity control for complex environmental simulations.
All floor-standing systems are equipped with Watlow F4T controllers and Ethernet connectivity, enabling remote monitoring and control. According to TestEquity, the chambers are backed by a one-year parts warranty and a three-year labour warranty.
