The fanless and wireless design of the box PCs ensures reliable operation under the mechanical stresses typical in industrial environments. By dispensing with components with rotating parts, such as conventional hard drives in favour of SSDs, a high level of reliability is guaranteed.

Inside, an N97 processor from Intel's latest Alder Lake N generation is at work. Alder Lake N stands for cost-effective yet powerful solutions in the entry-level segment. Systems with these processors offer a favourable balance between performance and energy efficiency.

The box PC offers 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and 2x 10 Gbit/s USB 3.2 Gen2 x1, Type A. Two M.2 slots (B-Key) allow the installation of a fast NVMe SSD and a WLAN module. Optionally, the box PC can be expanded with additional interfaces such as 2x COM, LPT + PS/2 or 8x digital I/O. Alternatively, in addition to the standard DisplayPort interface, a second graphics connection can be provided as DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D or legacy VGA.

The standard version of the PowerBox 130 is designed for operating temperatures from 0 °C to 45 °C. For more demanding environments, a variant is available that can withstand temperatures from -25 °C to 60 °C. The wide-range input for the power supply from 9 to 48 VDC enables use in various industrial applications and ensures stable operation even with voltage fluctuations.
