Ethernet everywhere” and zonal architectures create completely new freedoms in the development and revision of vehicle networks. At the same time, however, this increase in design options also presents vehicle developers with major challenges: Which existing bus systems, for example, should definitely be replaced by Ethernet? In which cases does it make more sense to connect legacy buses - and how should this be done? Existing protocol landscapes can also become a challenge when modernizing the vehicle network.

The eleventh Automotive Ethernet Congress to be held on February 18 - 20, 2025 in Munich will look to address these and other issues. Here, current, and future technology and product developments will be the focus of the conference program, exhibition, and associated workshops. The Congress will offer you the opportunity to share and discuss new ideas around the implementation and use of Ethernet in the vehicle and in your own projects.

The Automotive Ethernet Congress 2025 will provide technical papers, examples from real-life practice, workshops, and reports of experience. Send us your suggestions on topics, such as the following:

  • Architecture: the role of Ethernet in a software-centric Automotive Environment
  • How to successfully implement Automotive Ethernet projects
  • Physical layer: Solutions from 10 Mbit/s up to Multi-Gig
  • Present and future physical layer solutions
  • AVB and TSN in practice: existing and new applications
  • Safety and security: critical applications with Ethernet
  • Test and measurement, tools
  • Electromagnetic compatibility: from cable to compliance testing
  • Ethernet for Agriculture vehicles, Truck and Trailer, Mining, and others
  • Asynchronous Ethernet (eg. IEEE 802.3dm)
  • Remote Control Protocols (eg. OPEN Alliance TC18 - RCP)
  • Other standardization efforts

These are just a selection of possible topics for discussion, you're welcome to send us an abstract on other aspects in and around the automotive Ethernet topic. We're looking forward to receiving all your interesting proposals. Please, submit a succinct résumé of your paper online at: www.automotive-ethernet-congress.de

The closing date for submissions is September 30, 2024.
