Extending Flexibility with Value-Added Modules

Apacer´s new »Transformed SSDs« comprise an M.2 2242 SSD and a specially designed robust connector. The »Transformed SSDs« can be customized to meet various value-added function requirements of different customers by adding an extended M.2 2238 PCB at the end to make it fit the dimensions of an M.2 2280 SSD.

The firmware of »SV25T SSD« combines three key technologies: power failure protection, value added & multiple data erase technology, and backup & recovery technology. It supports M.2 hot swapping, and has a unique design without an outer cover, which can achieve excellent heat dissipation. This product has successfully passed MIL-STD-202G Method 213B shock test and MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6 vibration test.

Customers can choose SV25T-M242 when developing a new product, and if special applications are required, it can be equipped with the value-added function module to extend it into an M.2 2280 SSD.
