Mit dem 6230 hatte Nokia die Business-Welt im Visier und das mit Erfolg. Die Nachfrage war 2004 so hoch, dass sie Nokias Produktionskapazität überstieg. 2005 war es dann das meistverkaufte Mobiltelefon in Europa.
