What are the major automotive manufacturers planning in terms of Software-defined Vehicles (SDV), Zonal Architecture, and Automotive Ethernet? How are manufacturers outside the passenger car sector dealing with these topics? And what strategies are emerging young companies pursuing with the support of tech giants such as Amazon? Answers to all these questions will be provided at the Automotive Ethernet Congress 2026 from March 24 to March 26, 2026. Around one third of the many presentations will involve OEMs such as BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, Stellantis, Renault, Volvo, Honda, and John Deere. This gives conference participants valuable first-hand insights from some of the key companies in the automotive world.

In addition, the Automotive Ethernet Congress highlights topics in special sessions that have so far received little or no attention. For example, three presentations focus entirely on the topic of Networked Audio and the particular role of Automotive Ethernet in areas such as low-latency applications or the connection of RCP and audio. In the Optical Session, six short presentations cover the full spectrum of a rapidly developing ecosystem, ranging from connectors and cables to transceivers and test systems.

Of course, major topics such as Architecture, SOA, Security, TSN, High Speed, and Switches are also included in the extensive program of presentations, keeping Automotive Ethernet Congress participants up to date on the latest developments in all relevant areas.

The program is further complemented by a dedicated Training Day on March 24, where renowned experts will provide valuable practical knowledge for the successful implementation of Ethernet projects. Whether TSN, SOME/IP, or MACsec – anyone looking to expand their knowledge of Automotive Ethernet or bring it up to date will benefit from the intensive training.

“The Automotive Ethernet Congress is a must-attend event for Automotive Ethernet experts. The wide range of content and the large number of experts gathered in one place make it possible not only to experience innovation and current trends live, but also to help shape them directly,” says Dr. Lars Völker, Technical Fellow at Technica Engineering (part of the KPIT Group), this year’s host of the Automotive Ethernet Congress.

The detailed event program can be found on the conference website, along with further information about the event and participant registration.
