From January 2026, the image processing brands Allied Vision, Chromasens, Mikrotron, NET and SVS-Vistek will be merged under the Allied Vision brand. The five companies, of which Allied Vision in Stadtroda is by far the largest, belong to the TKH Group.
The offering is complemented by solutions from Euresys, a sister company closely affiliated with Allied Vision that offers image and video capture components, frame grabbers, image processing software, and FPGA IP cores. Together with LMI Technologies, a provider of 3D vision solutions, Allied Vision forms two pillars of TKH Vision, the machine vision division of the TKH Group. TKH Vision's Italian subsidiary, TKH Vision Italy, will also become part of the Allied Vision brand, expanding the sales and support network.
Under the Allied Vision umbrella brand, TKH Vision offers a wide range of 2D image processing technologies. Customers, partners, system integrators, and OEMs receive complete image processing solutions – from line scan to area scan cameras, from lenses to frame grabbers to IP cores. A uniform software development kit (SDK) that can be used to control cameras from different series, as well as image processing software and libraries, complement the hardware offering. Components from different areas of technology mesh seamlessly and form the basis for fully integrated systems.
Depending on the scope of the project, customers can find suitable solutions under the unified Allied Vision brand – from individual standard components and various product bundles to fully integrated systems and customised OEM solutions. With this offering, Allied Vision covers a wide range of industry-specific image processing solutions – from embedded systems to high-end solutions.
By pooling all of its know-how, Allied Vision has comprehensive technical expertise to ensure customer-oriented development and consulting across various industries and technologies. Users benefit from a global network of experts that guarantees reliability and availability.
“With the rapid development of image processing technologies and the increasing complexity of projects, customers are increasingly demanding integrated solutions rather than individual components. Driven by the needs of our customers, we have united our brands under the name Allied Vision to offer our customers a one-stop-shop experience from January 2026,” explains Robert Franz, CEO of Allied Vision.
