STMicroelectronics with the NanoEdge AI Studio

NanoEdge AI Studio from STMicroelectronics is a Machine Learning library generator, which allows anyone to benefit from AI capabilities an area previously reserved for experts. This all-in-one,  software tool enables users to easily develop an ML-based solution for even the smallest of devices based on any STM32 MCU.

The tool offers an integrated workflow, from datalogging to inference on the edge, including on-device learning. In its latest release, NanoEdge AI Studio has expanded its scope to become more universal by integrating ISPU MEMS sensors, including the latest ISM330ISN smart sensors with an embedded processing unit. AI training and inferences can now be distributed accross multiple devices, including an MCU and a sensor with an ISPU. This significantly reduces application power consumption. The always-on sensor manages an initial detection stage, running AI using very low power consumption, and only wakes up the MCU when specific events are detected requiring it to perform further AI analysis.
