These are the champions!

Many companies submitted their entries for the embedded award 2023. The jury nominated 24 of them. Tuesday afternoon, Prof. Dr. Axel Sikora, Head of Jury, announced and presented awards to the winners in the eight categories.

The presentation of the embedded awards has been a permanent fixture at embedded world since 2005. Companies submitted 98 applications – a new record for the embedded award. »This figure shows the high regard in which the award is held in the embedded industry,« says a delighted Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of the embedded world Exhibition&Conference.

The embedded award will be presented for the first time in eight categories – two of which have been added this year: Artificial Intelligence and SoC/IP/IC Design complement the well-known embedded award categories Hardware, Tools, Software, Embedded Vision, Safety & Security and Startup this year.

Remarkably, the eight companies honored include three startups. »The fact that two startups were convincing in the two categories with the most entries – hardware and software – shows the high level of innovation with which startups enrich the embedded industry,« says jury president Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora in recognition of the young companies' achievements.
