With the latest version v7.0 of its compiler toolchain »VX-Toolset for Arm« as well as the latest versions of the BlueBox »Debug & Trace« and the debugger »winIDEA«, Tasking integrates the latest NXP processors S32E and S32Z, which are based on Arm's Cortex-R53 and M33 architecture.

Especially interesting for developers is the combined offering of compiler toolchain and debugger for NXP's real-time processors. The CPUs feature the Cortex-R52 split-lock architecture for real-time automotive applications. Specifically, the S32Z processors are designed for safety processing and domain and zone control, while the S32E processors are designed for electric vehicle (xEV) control and smart actuation.

The VX Toolset for Arm includes an Eclipse-based C/C++ compiler, assembler and linker, as well as numerous built-in libraries that enable embedded software developers to generate code quickly and easily. The compiler is safety certified according to ISO 26262 to ASIL D, among other requirements. Seamlessly integrated with the tool suite is BlueBox, the emulator for single- and multicore debugging: it includes the winIDEA test tool for debugging and tracing complex automotive applications.

Tasking will preview the VX Toolset for Arm v7.0 along with the BlueBox and winIDEA debugger at the NXP Connects event June 13-14 in Santa Clara, California.
