The Automotive Ethernet Congress 2025 from February 18 to 20, 2025 at the Science Congress Center Munich will cover fundamental technical developments and trends as well as detailed solutions for practical use. This includes two special workshops that are being offered for the first time in this form:

SOME/IP Master Class (Day 1)

This is the first time that a SOME/IP Master Class is offered publicly and currently only this single event is planned. SOME/IP is considered the standard for service-oriented communication in the vehicle and it is used by most OEMs with advanced Automotive Ethernet deployments. For Automotive Ethernet experts, knowing the details of SOME/IP is essential. Selected topics of the SOME/IP Master Class:

  • SOME/IP Basics
  • SOME/IP Serialization Alternatives
  • SOME/IP-TP
  • SOME/IP-SD
  • SOME/IP and Safety & Security
  • SOME/IP Service Design
  • SOME/IP Analysis with Wireshark

The trainers are well-known experts in SOME/IP including the original author of the SOME/IP specifications. This Master Class will not only cover the basics but will also go into details that you do not find in other trainings.

Advanced Workshop: Transforming Automotive Validation (Day 3)

The automotive industry's transition to zone-based architectures and software-defined vehicles (SDVs) necessitates a fundamental shift in validation methodologies. These emerging paradigms introduce unprecedented levels of flexibility, scalability, and complexity. This workshop provides a comprehensive exploration of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards and advanced validation techniques designed specifically for these cutting-edge technologies. The workshop is divided into three thematic sections, each of which can be attended independently:

  • Redefine Your Toolchain
  • Rethink Validation
  • Redefine Validation

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have gained valuable knowledge and skills necessary to implement TSN-based validation strategies in their projects. This will help to enable them to develop robust, scalable, and secure systems that align with the rapidly evolving demands of zone-based architectures and software-defined vehicles.

Do not miss your chance to join these trainings! The detailed event program can be found on the conference website, as well as further information on trainings and participant registration.
