Adlink Technology introduces it's new Development Kit for SMARC. It is bases on a SMARC module from Adlink with a MediaTek CPU. Adlink focuses particularly on the use for AI applications and robotics.
The »I-Pi SMARC 1200« development kit from Adlink Technology includes particularly this Features:
In addition, there are following interfaces:
The development kit is available from Adlink for $379 and optionally offers Wi-Fi. The »LEC-MTK-I1200« SMARC module, the heart of the development kit, is based on a MediaTek CPU with four Arm Cortex A78 cores at 2.2 GHz and four Arm Cortex A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. Memory is available in 4 or 8 GB and Adlink optionally offers a TPM 2.0 module for more security. A five-core Arm Mali G57 GPU offers dual 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Furthermore, three MIPI-CSI ports are available for cameras.
Dual-band Ethernet and wireless options are also important for AI or robotics applications: Two 10/100/1000 Mbit Ethernet ports are available here, as well as Wi-Fi IEEE 802.1 and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition, there are four USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, SPI, I2C, I2S, GPIO and PCIe. The operating temperature range is from 0 to 60 °C, or -40 to +85 °C in the rugged version. Canonical Ubuntu or Yocto Linux are standard operating systems.
