New Generation of Femtosecond Lasers

Topag Lasertechnik now offers the femtosecond laser Carbide of the manufacturer Light Conversion with improved specifications.

The air-cooled model is now available with 20 % higher pulse energy and either >80 µJ or >100 µJ. For the water-cooled 40 W models, the maximum repetition rate has been increased from 1 to 2 MHz.

Further performance parameters of the compact femtosecond Carbide series are: up to >400 µJ at pulse durations from 290 fs to 10 ps, repetition rates from 60 kHz to 2 MHz and 1028 nm wavelength, optionally with up to 4th harmonic.

The lasers are suitable for drilling, cutting and material removal of different materials. The new ps burst mode is particularly practical.
