CeLaGo and Senvisys, both from Saarbrücken, received the special »Young Company« award. CeLaGo developed a new manufacturing process for strain gauge strips. They can now optionally be produced in free form and with significantly higher k-factors. This makes it easier to tailor themto the measuring surface and significantly more sensitive than previous standard strain gauge strips. They are produced on 0.5 meter wide and 2.8 meter long films. A large series production has not yet started, first sample copies can be obtained.
