The enterprise division of cybersecurity solutions provider Trend Micro is now known as TrendAI. The new brand identity is intended to reflect the company’s evolution and its role in the field of AI security - at a time when AI is increasingly shaping digital infrastructures.
Organizations are increasingly aligning their operations around AI, autonomous systems and data-driven decision-making. Consequently, security must also evolve. TrendAI addresses the growing attack surface by enabling both the protection of infrastructure and applications and the control of how AI systems operate, establish connections and make decisions across the entire enterprise.
TrendAI’s approach to AI security is based on four core principles: creating transparency regarding how AI is used and how systems and agents interact across different environments; understanding the context and intent behind these interactions; enforcing policies and controls for usage as well as for agent-driven actions; and incorporating human oversight at critical decision points.
With the new brand name, the company aims to reflect its evolution from a comprehensive portfolio of security products to a unified AI-powered enterprise cybersecurity platform. The new brand is intended to link the development and delivery of security solutions for AI-enabled businesses even more closely with the requirements of modern organizations for effective cyber risk management – extending beyond the protection of infrastructure to the management of AI-driven systems and decisions.
