In the scientific evaluation process, Kübler received particularly high marks for its innovation culture and speed of decision-making. This is the fourth time the company has been recognized among Germany’s TOP 100 innovators.

Innovation through dedicated development time

One example of Kübler’s innovation approach originated from a delayed customer project. Rather than leaving engineering resources idle, the company launched an internal innovation competition inspired by the "Dragon’s Den" concept. Seven development teams were given four months to develop new product ideas and build working prototypes.

According to the company, several of the resulting concepts have since become part of the next generation of products. In addition, employees in the development department can dedicate every second Friday to personal innovation projects during a company initiative called "My Day", working across departmental boundaries on new ideas.

Customer collaboration drives product development

Kübler develops new technologies in close cooperation with customers, universities and technology partners. Greenfield and brownfield workshops, combined with close collaboration between development, product management and application engineering, form the basis for new encoders, sensors, slip rings and intelligent systems for measurement, data transmission and signal evaluation.

Portfolio expansion planned

The company plans to expand its portfolio both horizontally and vertically. In addition to its core products, complete OEM subsystems, software solutions, digital twins and predictive maintenance concepts are expected to play a growing role. At the same time, Kübler continues to expand its digital tools and services under the guiding principle "Easy to work with", aiming to simplify collaboration with customers.
