Segger’s debug probe »J-Link« now fully supports the new programmable System-on-chip (SoC) series »HVC 5x« SOC series by TDK-Micronas. All J-Link models now support download and debugging of these cores via JTAG and SWD.

The latest hardware versions of all J-Link models (J-Link PRO, J-Link ULTRA+, J-Link PLUS, and J-Link BASE) now support download and debugging of the TDK Micronas »HVC 5x« SoC series via JTAG and SWD.

Segger’s J-Link features a download speed of up to 4 MB/s, and the ability to set an unlimited number of breakpoints in the flash memory of MCUs, and much more. J-Link comes with free software and firmware updates. All supported devices can be used without the need to buy an additional license – no hidden costs – no future costs.

The TDK-Micronas core support has already been added to the J-Link software pack, which is available for download from the Segger website.
