The twelfth Automotive Ethernet Congress will take place in Munich from March 24 to 26, 2026. Anyone who would like to participate in the program now has the opportunity to submit proposals for presentations and workshops.
Automotive Ethernet is now being used very successfully in many vehicles. Nevertheless, dealing with this technology remains a challenge. On the one hand, this is due to the revolutionary change in vehicle architecture towards zonal architecture and the software-defined vehicle (SDV). On the other hand, it is also due to Automotive Ethernet itself, which is constantly being expanded and updated in the 19 Technical Committees (TC) of the Open Alliance.
TC 18, for example, is concerned with the establishment of a Remote Control Protocol (RCP), which can be used to integrate less complex vehicle components cost-effectively via Ethernet. TC 19, on the other hand, looks at how switches can be used more effectively in the future. Specifically, the focus will be on software, management, monitoring and configuration for switches.
The twelfth Automotive Ethernet Congress from March 24 to 26, 2026 in Munich will take both developments into account: the strategic further development of vehicle architecture and new technical details in Automotive Ethernet. Current and future technology and product developments will continue to form the core of the congress program, the exhibition and the workshops. AEC 2026 offers the opportunity to share and discuss new ideas relating to the implementation and use of Ethernet in vehicles and to adapt them for your own projects.
Detailed information on the planned main topics can be found on the conference website. To participate in the program, you can submit proposals for presentations and workshops via the website. The call for papers is open until October 17, 2025.
