“ Compared to the challenges we faced at the time, 2020 actually ran-out
surprisingly well for us, also due to the flexibility of our employees. At our main site in Austria, we had very good support from the local public authorities, for example with regard to testing, which was integrated into an overall system, and also with vaccinations, which enabled us to achieve a high vaccination rate.
We also introduced a 3G rule (whereby staff must either be vaccinated, recovered or have a negative test result) at the plant to create further incentives to vaccinate.

In the automotive space however, we recorded an overall decline of 10 percent. Whereby, in the industrial segment, bookings actually increased. The transition period from Q4 2020 to Q1/2021 proved to be very stable. Currently, we continue to record very good levels of bookings, but are not in a position to realize them fully due to material availability difficulties. From a management point of view 2021 is still very difficult because we find ourselves in a digital situation where we basically work on call. We even have a company psychologist on-site to help take some of the pressure off. This offer of help was been very well received by the employees. „
