The new »P2202« PC module from Cincoze, which compmall offers exclusively, raises the bar in all areas: in terms of performance, security and reliability – it can also be used for a wide range of applications thanks to its many connectivity options.

CDS concept ensures flexibility
The performance boost compared to previous models is largely achieved by the new 12th generation processors. In the i3 version, the Alderlake processor with it's six cores provides 1.62 times the performance of its predecessor. Like the i3 variant, the i5 variant can also achieve a maximum clock frequency of 4.4 GHz. In addition, the i5 CPU with its 10 cores is particularly suitable for demanding tasks. Up to 64 GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 SO-DIMM memory can be used. The graphics performance is based on the integrated Intel UHD graphics, which can control up to four independent displays. These can be connected via DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA and the proprietary CDS connection.
The Convertible Display System (CDS for short) is a patented concept from compmall and Cincoze. This includes the ability to combine embedded PCs with displays which can be used in combination as a panel PC. The PC module can be easily and wirelessly connected to any Cincoze display. Panel PCs from 12 to 24 inches, with resistive or capacitive touch, with sunlight-readable displays and open-frame applications can be realized.
Store data securely
Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide secure Ethernet connectivity via which jumbo frames can also be realized. The Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) function can be added by using a CFM module. An M.2 M-Key slot, which can be equipped with an Intel CNVi/Wireless module, is predestined for WiFi 6E, for example. GPS or 4G modules as well as expansion cards can also be inserted via a mini PCIe slot. A SIM card slot enables wireless data transmission via the mobile network. The P2202 PC module comes with four RS-232/422/485 auto-flow control interfaces, three USB 3.2 Gen2 and one USB 2.0, as well as isolated digital inputs/outputs (8x input/8x output). This means that a wide range of peripheral devices can be connected.
Data can be stored individually or in RAID via two 2.5-inch SATA3 HDD/SSD. Practical: one storage medium can be accessed from the front even when combined. The other is securely installed in the system. For example, system data can be stored on the internal data carrier and acquired measurement data on the removable data carrier.
Extensive certifications
Safety was an important aspect of product development. This is why the standards for the new P2202 were carried out in accordance with the 61000-6-4 standard instead of EN55035. With UL and cUL certification, the P2202 is ideally suited for the North American and Canadian markets. EN61000-6-4 and EN61000-6-2 also confirm electromagnetic compatibility and product safety. Further safety features include overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection and reverse polarity protection.
The P2202 is resistant to vibration and shock. This is confirmed by IEC 60068-2-64, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The Embedded PC (or Panel PC) runs stably even under full load. With the »PassMark« burn-in test, the system was subjected to a 100% CPU load with 2D/3D graphics performance. The test was passed without any interruptions in operation and without thermal throttling. As an all-rounder with long-term availability, the P2202 can be used either as an embedded PC or in combination with a display as a panel PC and is recommended for use in industrial environments with high performance requirements.
