An online resource hub provides up-to-date information on industrial single board computers. The hub is especially helpful for developers seeking device deployment in IIoT and edge computing environments. It is available now.

Farnell's online resource hub is designed to provide electronics developers with up-to-date information on industrial single board computers (SBCs). The online hub on industrial embedded computing provides extensive technical resources, including

  • technical articles,
  • application notes,
  • guides,
  • projects and training modules, as well as
  • videos and e-books.

In addition, online calculators, conversion tables and tools for selecting components can be accessed.

Furthermore, the hub contains recommendations and data on products from Raspberry Pi, Intel, Xilinx, NXP, Ardunio, BeagleBoard, Industrial Shields, Kunbus and Wittra. Hub visitors can browse key product features and view the full range. Complementary application pages give developers deeper insight into specific application areas, including industrial automation and control, IoT, agriculture, automotive, maintenance and edge computing. According to a Farnell survey, SBCs are now used in all phases of product development and production – from feasibility studies and prototyping to production and test benches.
