After a prolonged period of stagnation, Europe’s electronic components market is regaining momentum. According to DMASS Europe, the distribution sector grew by 4.09% in Q3 2025 to reach €3.80 billion.
While semiconductors saw modest gains, Interconnect, Passive & Electromechanical components (IP&E) outperformed the market.
The European electronic components distribution market posted a moderate rebound in the third quarter of 2025. According to the latest DMASS Europe report, total sales rose by +4.09% to €3.80 billion.
Semiconductors increased slightly by +0.77% to €2.27 billion, while IP&E components surged by +9.42% to €1.53 billion. The strongest growth came from Turkey (+27.4%), Benelux (+10.3%), and Israel (+42.2%), while the UK, Switzerland, and parts of Eastern Europe recorded declines.
By product category, Sensors & Actuators (+19.0%), Memory (+6.9%), and Power Supplies (+16.9%) showed solid performance, whereas Power (-10.3%) and MOS Micro Logic (-5.6%) weakened.
“After a period of stagnation, we’re seeing the first signs of renewed momentum,” said Hermann Reiter, Chairman of DMASS Europe. “Yet Europe’s structural dependencies and supply chain vulnerabilities remain critical concerns, especially amid growing geopolitical fragmentation.”
Looking ahead, the DMASS outlook emphasizes cautious optimism: while the recovery trend is promising, it rests on fragile foundations. Reiter concludes with a call to action: “Europe – No Waiting, Full Throttle Forward.”
