Every year, display experts from all over the world meet at the electronic displays Conference (edC) in Nuremberg, Germany, to present and discuss the latest results in research and development. The edC program committee is calling for papers for the 2026 edition of electronic displays Conference, which will take place on 11 and 12 March 2026 in Nuremberg in parallel with the embedded world Exhibition.
The electronic displays Conference (edC) is the established conference in Europe for promoting the dialogue and discussion in the field of electronic displays and systems equipped with displays. The conference features an English-language program of specialist presentations on various display topics, including AR/VR technologies, microdisplays, FALD LCDs, MicroLEDs, reflective displays, haptic touchscreens, automotive applications and optical measurement methods. The conference attendees represent the entire value chain from decision-makers and engineers to industry professionals.
The conference committee invites contributions from research, development, applications, and market perspectives in the field of display technologies. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
DISPLAY TECHNOLOGIES & MATERIALS: LCD, OLED, MicroLEDs, Quantum Dots, e-paper, projection, flexible, stretchable and transparent displays, emerging materials and substrates...
DISPLAY APPLICATIONS & USE CASES:
Automotive, avionics, rail, consumer electronics, industry, medical devices, mobile devices, smart home, e-signage, wearables, IoT...

AI & SMART DISPLAYS:
AI-enhanced image processing, adaptive user interfaces, predictive maintenance, context-aware UIs, edge intelligence in embedded systems...
A presentation at the electronic displays Conference is recorded in the proceedings. This enables speakers to achieve a long-term impact with their presentation and the accompanying paper.
The ‘author interviews’ at the edC enable speakers to make direct contact and exchange ideas with interested participants. They can expand their network in an informal atmosphere at round tables.
Presenting Technology, Expertise and Competence
In addition to presentations, the edC also offers posters for information transfer and making contacts. Placed in the lounge area, the posters will be clearly visible throughout the entire electronic displays Conference.
edC 2026 will not only offer presentations and workshops, but also networking opportunities to exchange ideas and establish partnerships. Be part of this exciting event and help shape the future of display technologies. The Call for Papers runs until 6 October 2025.
