The single board computer BeagleBone AI enriched with artificial intelligence is now available from Farnell.
The BeagleBone AI can be used to explore possible areas of application for artificial intelligence, whereby the introduction is described as very simple. The board was developed especially for AI projects and has an integrated neural engine that processes complex algorithms on the hardware level. BeagleBone with the AI board on earlier versions and uses for this new model the same form factor as with other BeagleBone SBCs.
In addition, tools such as Farnell's online AI Configuration Wizard help developers find the right board for their project, any necessary accessories, and practical relevant resources such as webinars.
The BeagleBone AI is based on the proven BeagleBoard.org Open Source Linux concept, filling the gap between small SBCs and more powerful industrial computers. The product comes with a heat sink and antenna and does not require an additional microSD card. Features and functions of the BeagleBone AI include:
