Crystal Display Systems cooperates with Beijing Dwin Technology
CDS and Dwin Technology announced a strategic partnership. Dwin Technology will get a comprehensive support for its products while CDS will expand their offerings in different industries.
Crystal Display Systems (CDS), a provider of industrial LCD TFT and touchscreen solutions, announced a new partnership with Beijing Dwin Technology, a provider of human-machine interface (HMI) products and solutions. This collaboration will see CDS supporting Dwin’s range of UART TFTs (COB and COF), plus their embedded Android and Linux display systems across Europe.
Through this partnership, CDS will offer comprehensive support for Dwin’s products, including:
1. Smart UART Displays
An extensive line-up of UART displays with sizes from 1.3” to 21.5” encompassing all the popular sizes and formats in between, including the bar or stretch types plus circular and square options. At the heart of the range is Dwin’s own powerful dual-core processor based on the Intel 8051 architecture and their own comprehensive DGUS UI development tool. Integrated UART ports, RS232, TTL or dedicated RS485 or CAN-Bus interfaces give direct device-to-device communication to the applications microprocessor via Tx and Rx pins, reducing the product development time. The displays also incorporate memory for project storage and have the option of touch functionality from either 4W resistive or Projected Capacitive technology.
2. Embedded Android / Linux Touch Displays
Readymade 5” to 15.6” high resolution open-frame tablet style display solutions with capacitive touch. The displays have an integrated Rockchip or Allwinner, Arm Cortex Quadcore processor and are supplied with either an Android or Linux open-source operating system allowing system designers to take advantage of a vast array of online resources including the Google Play Service. The displays incorporate an 8GB flash memory and include a powerful array of features and connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ethernet, plus headphone, external speaker, camera and microphone ports as well as USB, RS232, RS485 and TTL interfaces for easy communication to peripheral devices.
3. TFT Displays plus Capacitive and Resistive Touch
To ensure a stable supply Dwin has strategic partnerships with several major TFT display manufacturers however they also produce their own range of TFT LCD and both Capacitive and 4W Resistive touch overlays enabling them to support long product life guarantees. TFT LCD sizes from 1.3” to 10.4”, Capacitive touch from 2” to 15.6” with a custom cover lens service plus Resistive overlays from 4.3” to 10.4”.
