From March 14th to 16th 2023, the Exhibition Center Nuremberg was a hotspot for the international embedded community. Over 950 exhibitors from 44 countries presented their product innovations and solutions at embedded world Exhibition&Conference.

»We were overwhelmed by the number of visitors«, reports Executive Director Benedikt Weyerer, beaming. Almost 27,000 visitors – over 50 percent more than last year – streamed through the exhibition halls over the three days. Over 40 percent traveled from abroad. This impressive result even exceeded the high expectations of the event team.

»The dynamic of the embedded industry was tangible in the halls. Every year it impresses me again how open-minded and innovative this great community is«, Weyerer enthusiastically recounts. »The many highly satisfied exhibitors are the best feedback for us«, says Weyerer happily.

embedded world Conference and electronic displays Conference

The top-class seminar program of the two conferences held in parallel drew 1659 participants and speakers from 46 countries to the Exhibition Center Nuremberg.

»Our approach of reflecting the state of the art in a very clearly structured program and at the same time addressing new topics ensured a very positive response from the participants, and the classes and sessions were exceptionally well attended«, summarizes Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, Chairman of the embedded world Conference. »The three keynotes were of course excellent, especially Prof. Ali Hessami's talk on AI Ethics struck a chord.«

»The glow of displays was reflected in the eyes of display enthusiasts. Innovations in LCDs, OLEDs, micro-LEDs as well as energy-efficient reflective displays were the focus of the presentations and networking«, summarizes Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, Chairman of the electronic displays Conference.

»The lecture program is unparalleled«, Benedikt Weyerer praises the work of the program committees of both conferences.

Exhibitor forums, #women4ew and Student Day

Visitor magnets in the halls were the three exhibitor forums with exciting expert panels, company presentations and startup pitches – they were almost always filled to capacity.

The networking event #women4ew celebrated its premiere. Around 100 women and a few interested men discussed career paths, leadership qualities and the added value of diverse teams on Wednesday afternoon. The discussion and positive feedback generated numerous ideas for a continuation of the format next year.

The third day of the fair was dedicated to the Student Day. What makes up the embedded community? What can I write my thesis about? What exciting jobs do the exhibitors offer? With these and many other questions, around 600 students mingled with the trade fair activities on Thursday and got an impression of the fascination of the embedded industry, among other things, through the keynote speech by Dr. Stefan Finkbeiner, CEO of Bosch Sensortec.

Save the date

The next embedded world Exhibition&Conference will be held at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg from April 9th to 11th 2024.
