PICMG recently published the Carrier Board Design Guide for COM-HPC. Congatec is now the first company to present a matching ecosystem.
In January, PICMG published the COM-HPC Carrier Board Design Guide. Congatec is now introducing an ecosystem for developing COM-HPC client and server designs based on this guide. From now on, engineers can start developing fully compliant designs. All they need to do is select the appropriate computer-on-module, add a COM-HPC server or COM-HPC client carrier and the appropriate cooling solution. After that, it is possible to install an application and run programming, debugging and test routines.
Congatec extends its platform with personalized integration support , as well as design conformance and testing services. The company also offers carrierboard and system development services in collaboration with its partners. A training program for designing carrier boards, completes the COM-HPC ecosystem. The training program will guide developers through all mandatory and recommended design fundamentals and best practice layouts for COM-HPC carrierboards and accessories. COM-HPC client carrierboards equipped with COM-HPC client modules based on 12th generation Intel Core processors will serve as the reference platform. COM-HPC server training will start when corresponding Intel Xeon modules and Evalution carriers become available later this year.
The COM-HPC Carrier Design Guide is available on the PICMG website.
