Artificial intelligence has long arrived in vehicles and, accordingly, in vehicle networks as well – whether in the form of predictive maintenance, AI-based network diagnostics, context-aware vehicle control, or LLM-based assistants. AI-powered tools also play an important role in analyzing the enormous amounts of data generated in vehicles. Moreover, the use of AI is not limited to the automotive sector alone but is increasingly gaining significance in trucks and agricultural vehicles as well.

The 13th Automotive Ethernet Congress (February 23-25, 2027 in Munich) will therefore focus particularly on the question of how AI will change vehicle network architecture, what needs to be considered in AI applications, and where the limits of AI deployment lie. Another important topic of AEC 2027 will be the tension between innovation speed on one hand and quality standards on the other: To what extent is the much-touted "China Speed" currently compromising product quality?

In addition, traditional Ethernet topics such as architecture, security, TSN, high speed, and switches will continue to form the focus of the Congress program. To participate in the program, you can submit corresponding proposals for presentations and workshops via the event website. The Call for Papers runs until October 23, 2026.
