Die UltraCap-Module haben eine Nennspannung von 95 V und werden typischerweise in Reihe geschaltet, um die erforderliche Spannungsebene zu erreichen.

This gives ASML access to products and techniques that are essential for use in ASML's lithography equipment.

"We are proud to have contributed to the success of the lithography systems from ASML. During this time a very close partnership with ASML", says Dr. Herbert Kubatz, owner of the Berliner Glas Group.

As part of the transaction, ASML is also acquiring divisions that serve other industries. "We intend to manage the Berliner Glas Group in such a way that these divisions can continue to focus on offering their customers competitive products that are tailored to their needs", says Frits van Hout, Chief Strategy Officer of ASML.

The management team of Berliner Glas Group will continue to lead the company. The
Contact persons for customers and suppliers remain the same. "We will continue to concentrate on being successful in the other markets in which we are active," explains Dr. Andreas Nitze, CEO of the Berliner Glas Group.

The acquisition will be completed as soon as the necessary official approvals
have been issued. This is currently expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2020.
