The Wireless Congress is held annually in Munich in the fall, organized by Electronics together with Electronica Messe München and the German Electro and Digital Industry Association (ZVEI). Every two years, the conference starts on the second day of Electronica.

The last »real« Electronica was four years ago. The last »real« Wireless Congress was held three years ago. The online versions of the Electronica trade show and Wireless Congress two years ago, the first year of the Covid pandemic, could not replace the real conversations and contacts among experts, with current and future business and project partners. After such a long isolation, it's high time to meet people for real again – on November 16 and 17, at the Wireless Congress during Electronica in Munich.

Direct Communication

78 speakers have registered for Wireless Congress 2022 – including experts from major international companies such as Analog Devices, Google, Infineon Technologies, Keysight Technologies, Microchip Technology, Nokia, NXP Semiconductors, Qorvo, Rohde & Schwarz, Semtech, Siemens, Silicon Labs and STMicroelectronics. This year's high-profile speakers include researchers from universities and research institutions, such as CEA Leti, several Fraunhofer institutes, colleges and universities.

All of them will not only present the results and findings of their work, but they are also eager to finally meet again with professional wireless users and other wireless experts to discuss their work, technical developments and new joint projects. After all, the most efficient way to discuss problems and possible solutions is in direct conversation.

Two Days, Four Tracks, 76 Presentations

The conference program of the 19th Wireless Congress: Systems & Applications extends over two days, November 16 and 17, parallel to Electronica. Each day will start with a keynote session featuring high-profile speakers from research and industry, followed by the technical presentations - divided into four parallel tracks according to the thematic focus.

The topics in the Wireless Congress program always represent current developments, and 2022 is no exception. Sessions with thematically bundled presentations, e.g. on 5G - mobile communications and DECT-2020 -, campus networks, Wi-Fi, Matter, IP500 and LPWAN - e.g. with IQRF, LoRaWAN and Mioty - make it easier for participants to find their way around. They will be complemented by application-specific sessions, such as »Industrial« and »Wireless Sensing«, »Localisation« and »Energy Harvesting« and several »Technology« sessions.

In-depth knowledge of the wireless technologies »IQRF« and »Bluetooth Localisation« will be imparted by experts from IQRF Tech and u-blox in two tutorials. In the manner of a hands-on workshop, they offer participants the opportunity to experience the technology in action and to evaluate the individual modules and components in operation. The two tutorials will conclude the »IQRF« and »Bluetooth Localisation« sessions on the first day of the conference.
