"The place to be" for embedded developer embedded world Conference is the worlds largest event of its kind

Since 16 years the embedded world Conference, organized by DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK, a leading german speaking magazine and website for embedded developers, is attracting knowledge-hungry embedded system developers as well as project and product managers. In 2018 more than 2.100 attendees were hosted.

Two elements fit together perfectly: The world’s largest conference for embedded system developers, the embedded world Conference, is an integrated part of the dynamic environment of the embedded world Exhibition,  publishing “Know-How für Entwickler” (know how for developers) in print (13 issues/year) as well online (26 newsletter/year) – inofficially DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK is called the “Nerd magazine” within the embedded community due to frequent product test and application reports, which you find nowhere else in this way.
Since 16 years the conference audience comprises experienced, innovative and live-long learning embedded system developers, project and product managers. The international share of participants is rapidly growing as the event enjoys highest reputation within the embedded community not only in Europe, but also in Asia and the US. Consequently, the embedded world Exhibition and the embedded world Conference are the world’s largest events of its kind – simply “the place to be” for everyone working in the embedded world.

Steering board is providing great conference program year over year

Steering board is providing great conference program year over year
The brains behind the rock-solid, innovative and attractive conference program come from an excellent steering board. Currently five senior engineers with excellent scientific and business records, with open minds and lots of ideas, shape the future direction of the embedded world Conference.

Head of the board is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, professor at Offenburg University in Germany, where he serves as scientific director of the Institute of Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics (ivESK). Also, he is deputy member of the board and head of the business unit“Software Solutions” of Hahn-Schickard Association of Applied Research, one of the leading state-funded research institutes in Southwest Germany.

Prof. Sikora has more than 20 years of experience in national and international R&D projects. He is author and co-author, editor and co-editor of several textbooks and of more than 250 scientific journal and conference papers.

Prof. Sikora and DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK collaborate succesfully not only at embedded world Conference, but also at the also rapidly growing annual conference “Internet of Things – from the sensor to the Cloud”.
Prof. Sikora’s major interest is the development of efficient, energy-aware, autonomous, secure, and value-added algorithms and protocols for wired and wireless embedded communication.
