OMAP 5 with as many as four ARM Cortex-A15 cores?
Semiconductor producer Texas Instruments is putting more computing performance into mobiles. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona it's showing the fifth generation of its OMAP processors with up to four ARM cores. The OMAP chips are intended to drive both smartphones and tablets. Planned for March is the presentation of a microcontroller with Cortex-M4 core.
