The Garz & Fricke Group takes over Keith & Koep GmbH. This is already the second company purchase within one year.

"With Keith & Koep we perfectly complement our product portfolio. While we supply our customers with human machine interfaces (HMI), application software and complementary products such as payment services, Keith & Koep specializes in System on Modules, i.e. compact plug-in computer modules," explains Matthias Fricke, managing director of Garz & Fricke, creating one of the most important system providers for ARM-based embedded technologies in Europe.

Garz & Fricke takes over all employees and continues the production site in Wuppertal. Volker Keith and Luitger Koep will remain responsible as managing directors of Keith & Koep. Matthias Fricke: "The significantly stronger Research & Development team will enable us to address attractive, larger customers for whom we were previously too small. Volker Keith adds: "In addition, there will be considerable synergy effects in the R&D area, as we are carrying out the basic developments with the same processor architectures of NXP and Linux operating systems".

In March 2019, the Garz & Fricke Group had already acquired the Stuttgart-based e-GITS GmbH, a developer of software applications for HMIs, cloud technologies and IoT. The second takeover within a year will create a group with headquarters in Hamburg and locations in Wuppertal, Stuttgart, Minneapolis, USA and Chennai, India.
