Especially for MOST150 applications Vector Informatik released the USB hardware interface VN2640, which keeps the popular features of the VN2610 (MOST25) and adds new features like e.g. the isolated ECL port, the OS81110 (INIC), Vector MediaLB+ IP core and the Vector Spy150 IP core.

Furthermore an FPGA based payload stress generator and an Ethernet port are included. The integrated ECL port avoids additional interface boxes and the isolation prevents PC/ECL ground loops in car en-vironments. For full INIC compatibility the OS81110 acts as node in the MOST ring and is served by Vectors proprietary Media- LB+ IP core on a bandwidth of 400 Mbit/s.

For system tests and firmware verification high control message, MDP and MEP load with alternating patterns in precise intervals are filled into the INIC by the FPGA payload generator. A valuable but easy to use overview of what is going on at the MOST ring is provided by detailed bus statistics. Connected to a PC via USB up to 30 Mbit/s of combined control, sync and asynchronous data can be processed by CANoe/CANalyzer or customer applications (with the XL-Driver-Library). In combination with other Vector Informatik hardware interfaces for MOST25, MOST150, FlexRay, CAN, LIN and IO any car infrastructure or test situation can be emulated and analyzed.
